Job description

1. Lead the development of Continuous Improvement in the Group (2 offices and 2 factories in North and South). Provide specialist support to the Manufacturing plants as required, to improve performance, driven by business need

2. Analyze Business Processes

  • Act as internal consultants, developing short- and long-term strategies for the organization and incorporating Six Sigma, Agile, and other practices. goal is to facilitate progress and reduce costs for workflow inefficiencies.
  • Analyse existing business processes using various methods to find opportunities for improvement as well as losses which troubleshoot further to determine root causes.

3. ​​​​​Develop Strategies

  • Act as internal consultants, developing short- and long-term strategies for the organization and incorporating Six Sigma, Agile, and other practices. goal is to facilitate progress and reduce costs for workflow inefficiencies.

4. Lead Activities

  • Lead initiatives that integrate Lean manufacturing, throughout the facility, using continuous improvement (CI) tools such as: Kaizen events, 5S, Six-Sigma, OEE, mistake proofing, etc. to reduce waste, optimize capital assets and improving throughput.
  • Develop training and coaching plan, communicate learning points and best practices from improvement projects.

 5. Mentor and train related stakeholders in lean tools and principles. Provide guidance to sustain improvement changes.

Job Requirement

  • At least 05 years’ experience in a leadership/operations management role in FDI manufacturing company.
  • Experience in Lean tools and principles, lean Manufacturing and/or Logistics/Warehouse/Transport.
  • Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Industrial / Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Quality preferred.
  • Have Lean certification, Six Sigma certification.
  • Business Change Management, Integration and/or Re-Engineering.
