Job description

  • Manage day to day activities in the hatchery;
  • Develop land-based hatchery infrastructure for the production of quality fingerlings and juveniles in the country;
  • Manage investments and operating budgets across the country;
  • Develop and implement quality management systems;
  • Supervise, coordinate and ensure the operations runs smoothly;
  • Identify production and quality performance issues and opportunities for improvement and provide technical solutions when needed;
  • Participate in the organization development including recruitment, training and other initiatives.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor/ Master’s degree in a relevant field with 5-10 years’ working experience from similar value chains (fish, shrimp, poultry, etc.);
  • Thorough understanding and experience at managing fish/shrimp hatcheries including infrastructure, biology, economics and people management;
  • Good command in English;
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills;
  • Strong problem-solving, data analysis and interpretation skills;
  • Willing to go on business trips within the country.
