Job description
1. Contract Management & Project Legal Support
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (sales, procurement, project contracts,...);
- Provide legal support throughout the project lifecycle (bidding, contract negotiation, claims, variation orders);
- Ensure all contracts align with company policies and minimize legal risks;
- Work closely with Sales, Project, and related teams to ensure legal compliance in business operations and projects;
2. Corporate Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Vietnamese laws and regulations (labor law, commercial law, investment law, etc.);
- Develop and implement internal legal policies and compliance frameworks;
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews in alignment with HQ/global standards;
- Monitor regulatory changes and provide timely updates to management;
3. Risk Management
- Identify and assess legal risks in business operations, projects, and partnerships;
- Provide preventive legal strategies and mitigation plans;
- Handle disputes, claims, and legal issues with customers, partners, and authorities;
4. External Relations & Legal Representation
- Liaise with external law firms, government authorities, and regulatory bodies;
- Represent the company in legal matters when required;
5. Training & Legal Awareness
- Conduct internal legal training for employees (contract awareness, compliance, risk prevention);
- Promote a strong compliance culture across the organization.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Law; a master’s degree is a plus;
- A licensed lawyer is preferred
- Minimum 7–10 years of legal experience, preferably in multinational companies or industrial/ manufacturing environments;
- Strong experience in commercial contracts, project contracts and corporate compliance;
- Experience working with Korean or global companies is a strong advantage;
- Strong legal drafting and contract negotiation skills;
- Solid understanding of the Vietnamese legal system and international business practices;
- Strong business acumen and risk management mindset;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Ability to work independently and handle complex legal issues;
- Language: Fluent in English (mandatory), Korean is a strong advantage;
