Production Team Leader


Job description

  • Lead production team and execute together with team to deliver product output meet the customer requirement on time in full with both quantity, quality and company operations target under EHS standard, working procedures and ISO procedure.
  • Supervise team to deliver yearly and individual objectives/KPI. Work with superior to develop functional expertise and build up team strength.
  • Manage to ensure all machine and equipment are always in safe condition to operate.
  • Work with line manager to deliver effective production planning to meet customers’ needs. Create and release production schedule, production order, complete production order and stock adjustment via SAP.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry with minimum 3-5 years working experience in chemical plant. Prefer industry experience in Paint, thinner, and ink, candidate with automation and storage tank operation experience is also preferred.
  • Experiences of working in Ex-proof factory is a plus, knowledge towards electrostatic and chemical safety is required.
  • Good knowledge in computer literacy, SAP experience is an advantage.
  • Good leadership, interpersonal and motivational skill due to job holder has to manage day to day operations under pressure to deliver agreed delivery plan.
  • Good analytical, communication and win-win negotiation skill as job holder need to work closely with other team to prepare effective production schedule in each month and review if necessary.
  • Fair to good in both written and spoken English.
