Project Manager (Construction Industry)


Job description

  • Responsible for approving the safety plan, construction methods & risk assessment.
  • Check & evaluate compliance with an approved safety plan and construction method.
  • Ensure resources for CM/SM to comply with approved safety plans & construction methods.
  • Ensure the construction project is on schedule according to the signed contract.
  • Re-evaluate the overall progress of project implementation and deploy for specialized departments to implement.
  • Check and evaluate compliance according to the overall approved schedule.
  • Prepare a detailed project schedule (working program) and submit to PD for approval.
  • Prepare an agreement on materials to be transferred to Commercial dept. to sign for approval for purchasing department to supply materials and make payment records.
  • Request materials to ensure the correct time according to the purchasing process.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and HSE team to control the delivery volume of materials.
  • Select and propose new and potential suppliers of materials for the company.
  • Control material loss according to the construction norms.
  • Planning to select subcontractors for the whole project.
  • Selection and recommendation of subcontractors.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management.
  • Have about 10 years of experience in construction industry and at least 05 years of experience in civil projects.
  • Possess good knowledge in project planning and construction of buildings preferably in high-rise development.
  • Experience in working on projects with Foreign Investors & Consultant Supervisor will be preferred.
  • Good communication in English.
