Job description

  • Evaluate order plans, make purchase requests, and manage the selection process;
  • Find suppliers, get quotes, compare to choose suitable suppliers with requirements;
  • Negotiate the terms of purchase with the suppliers;
  • Make orders and contracts for approval by superiors;
  • Supervise, monitor and coordinate delivery and receipt of goods;
  • Purchase materials for production and equipment after requirements, ensure it is on time with work progress;
  • Track order status, be ready for missing or backlog problems, contact directly with relevant departments;
  • Contact relevant departments for periodical comparison and inventory or upon request;
  • Solve quality and quantity errors in the buying process;
  • Make periodic reports according to regulations and other tasks assigned by Head of Department.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering related majors, Mechanical is preferred  ;
  • At least 5 years of experience working in Purchasing, Import and Export;
  • Can communicate in English well;
  • Understand the processes and procedures in Purchasing;
  • Agility, honesty, hard work, careful, and responsible;
  • Ability to work independently or as a team;
  • Extensive knowledge of commodity and market prices;
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
