Manage, operate, and maintain industrial refrigeration systems, including cold storage, IQF freezing lines, chillers, central refrigeration, and HVAC systems supporting production.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance, repairs, and component replacements to ensure system stability, energy efficiency, and production continuity.
Supervise the installation, upgrade, or expansion of refrigeration systems, ensuring compliance with design and technical standards.
Monitor operating parameters, analyze system failures, and propose performance improvement solutions.
Collaborate with Production and QA/QC teams to maintain temperature, humidity, and environment standards for food safety (HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC).
Lead and train refrigeration technicians on system operation and troubleshooting.
Coordinate with equipment suppliers and external service providers as required.
Provide periodic reports on equipment status, maintenance costs, and energy consumption.
Job Requirement
Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Refrigeration, Mechanical-Electrical Engineering, Thermal & Refrigeration Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a refrigeration engineer in food processing, seafood, frozen food factories, or similar industrial refrigeration systems.
Strong knowledge of NH₃ or Freon compressors, chillers, deep-freeze cold storage, and basic PLC/electrical control systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical-refrigeration diagrams.
Preferred candidates have industrial refrigeration operator certificates or experience in export-standard environments (HACCP, ISO).
Responsible, proactive, and willing to work rotating shifts or be on-call for technical support.
