Warehouse Manager

Job description

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials and products.
Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and safety.
Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of products.
Manage inventory levels to ensure accurate stock counts and availability of materials.
Implement and maintain inventory control systems to track stock movements and minimize discrepancies.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile any differences.
Coordinate with the procurement and production teams to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of materials.
Plan and oversee the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and transport companies.
Ensure all warehouse operations comply with health and safety regulations.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Lead, manage, and mentor the knitting team, including machine operators and technicians.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a frozen seafood manufacturing corporation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
