General Accountant

Job description

Perform and control all accounting functions: accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, fixed assets, inventory, and costing.
Record, review, and ensure the accuracy of all transactions in compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS).
Calculate production costs; monitor and analyze cost fluctuations; propose cost optimization solutions.
Prepare periodic financial statements (monthly/quarterly/annually) and management reports as required.
Handle tax declarations and finalization (VAT, CIT, PIT, etc.); ensure compliance with legal regulations.
Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, and Procurement departments to control data, reconcile inventory, and manage costs.
Manage and monitor inventory in/out/stock; participate in periodic stocktaking.
Participate in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management.
Work with auditors, tax authorities, and relevant stakeholders when required.
Propose improvements to accounting processes and internal control systems.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5–7 years of experience, including at least 2–3 years in a manufacturing company.
Strong knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards and tax regulations.
Good analytical skills, detail-oriented, and responsible.
Ability to work independently and handle work pressure.
