Product Developer (Export Market)

Job description

Research market trends, competitors and customer needs to develop product concepts and ideas.
Work with Sales and R&D to develop concepts, product stories and selling points.
Prepare and deliver customer presentations, tastings and innovation sessions.
Support customer visits, including interpretation, product explanation and feedback collection.
Support recipe transfer, product trials and first production to ensure consistency with approved samples.
Evaluate trial and production samples and support quality/release decisions.
Develop customer-facing materials such as concept boards, presentations and product descriptions.
Maintain updated product information, market research and customer feedback for internal use.

Food R&D or product development background,
Native or near-native English, spoken and written, able to explain technical food detail to a non-technical retail buyer without support.
Commercially curious: proposes ideas without being asked, not only communicates well.
Comfortable presenting and improvising in front of customers.
Experience with US, UK or Australian retail or foodservice private label.
