1. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Head of Web Development to lead our web development team in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of web development technologies, tools, and methodologies and be able to apply them effectively to meet our clients' needs.
2. Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with customers to grasp their requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the team to implement.
- Be responsible for developing and managing project plans, timelines, and budgets for each web development project.
- Ensure the success of your projects, you'll identify, evaluate, and recommend technology solutions that are suitable for our client's needs.
- Manage multiple teams and ensure effective communication between them, making sure that each team meets its goals and contributes to the overall project's success.
- Be accountable for ensuring that all projects are delivered within the agreed timelines and budgets.
- Guarantee that the quality of the final deliverables meets high standards, review and approve all web development outputs.
- Be responsible for developing and implementing web development standards and best practices.
- Collaboration with other departments, such as marketing and design, is key to ensuring that web development projects meet business requirements.
- Finally, staying up-to-date with the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies is essential for keeping your team ahead of the curve and maintaining their skillset.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in web development, with at least 5 years of experience in a management or leadership role.
- Experience in managing multiple teams and budgets.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering web development projects on time and within budget.
- Experience in working with customers to understand their requirements and translating these into technical specifications.
- Strong technical skills in web development technologies such as Angular, React, Bootstrap, node.js, and other related technologies such as AWS (Lambda, S3, CloudFront) and the serverless framework.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team
