Job description

  1. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
    • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team performance and skills.
    • Facilitate in recruit and development of sales members to attain growth objectives. 
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  2. Sales Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and volume/ revenue targets.
    • Managing sales pipeline, activities by CRM or other tools, and providing forecasting to relevant stakeholders.
    • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional senior management to conduct sales strategies for all business products and services 
  3. Performance Management:
    • Monitor sales performance metrics, including KPIs, sales quotas, and revenue targets.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
    • Take proactive measures to address performance issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Help sales members solve the business problems and challenges. 
  4. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the customer base.
    • Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a high level of responsiveness.
  5. Sales Operations and Administration management:
    • Oversee sales territories, budgeting, and planning activities.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
    • Generate relevant market and sales reports for the higher management team.
       

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in foreign trade, international economics, maritime transport, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role within the forwarding, shipping, or logistics industry.
  • Fluent in English is must (listening, speaking, reading, and writing). Chinese-speaking will be an advantage.
  • Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas. Results-oriented. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills, and availability to travel as needed.
